SIL FAQs

The stuff people ask.

What's the difference between SIL and ILO?

SIL is shared, rostered support inside a home, often 24/7. ILO is a custom-designed arrangement (host, share, or solo) with lighter, wrap-around supports. Not sure which fits? Take our quick quiz below.

Do I need SIL funding in my NDIS plan?

Yes. SIL sits in your Core supports budget. We can help you prep evidence for your planning meeting if it's not in your plan yet.

Can I choose my housemates?

Absolutely. Matching is a big part of what we do, shared interests, routines and communication styles matter as much as funding.

What if it's not the right fit?

We'll keep working with you. Re-matching, room moves and changing support workers are all part of a healthy SIL.

Where are your SIL homes?

Currently Newcastle and Central Coast, with Sydney coming soon. New houses open regularly, reach out for upcoming vacancies.

Still deciding?

Not sure if SIL is your shape?
