The NDIS Stands for "National Disability Insurance Scheme", It enables a person living with a disability to access support across all Australian states and territories through the NDIS.
Please reach us at info@goodshepherds.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.
You will be able to view your NDIS plan to find out how much funding you have, which categories you have access to, and what they are used for. In order to clarify your options based on your funding, we can review your plan with you.
The NDIS plans have three support budgets:
Core Supports budget: for supports that help with everyday tasks and activities, including community participation and transport.
Capacity Building Supports budget: for supports that help you become more independent and build on your skills.
Capital Supports Budget: is for one-off purchases you may need, including technology and home modifications. It also covers Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). Capital Supports budget funds can only be used for their specific purpose.
